Tony Thomas, Minister
Tony was born and raised in Miami, OK where he attended First Christian Church, and he received his education at the Cincinnati Bible Seminary in Cincinnati, OH. He has been preaching since his freshman year in college in 1972. He was ordained into the ministry by the Harrison Church of Christ in Harrison, Ohio and he and his family lived in the Cincinnati, Ohio area for seventeen years before moving to Indiana in 1994.
Tony retired from full time ministry in 2019 after concluding his ministry with the Woodland Heights Christian Church and for the past two years he was the interim minister at two Indiana churches.
For seven years he wrote a weekly column for The Paper of Montgomery County, the Pharos-Tribune in Logansport, and The Paper of Wabash County. He is the author of “A Smidgeon of Religion,” (available at www.authorhouse.com or www.amazon.com), and he coaches co-ed golf at Crawfordsville Middle School in the spring and Girls’ Golf at Crawfordsville High School in the fall.
Tony’s wife is Christie who worked at Hoover Elementary until she retired. Christie enjoys singing and playing Scrabble. The Thomas’s have three grown daughters, Angela, Ashley and Abigail, and six grandchildren, Emma, Marshall, Gabe, Brooklyn Corey, and Penny.

Dawn Broughton, Administrative Assistant
Dawn has a business degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and nearly 25 years as an EMT/Paramedic with 10 years as the Executive Director at Putnam County Operation Life. After leaving the emergency medical field, Dawn became a substitute teacher for the Crawfordsville Community School and the South Montgomery School systems. Dawn became the administrative assistant for New Market Christian Church in September of 2008. She is on the Worship & Food Pantry Teams.
Dawn was married to Ray for over 34 years; they have three children and six grandchildren. Dawn enjoys camping, fishing and traveling. She is also an avid fan of Southern Gospel Music. Dawn is a member of the Community Christmas Choir where she directs the Children's Choir. She is also a member of the Crawfordsville Community Chorus.
