The rumors going on here and in the community are too much of a strain on our family. We have reviewed the surveys and believe our effectiveness in the ministry here has been damaged too much to continue to serve at NMCC. The sad thing is that many of the rumors are false. Therefore, in order for our family to heal, we have decided with God’s guidance to resign and spend time away from ministry for a while. We have learned through this that God is leading our Pastoral Ministry to discipleship and outreach.
It is unfortunate that this has happened, because we saw great things happening here. However, God has shown us through this trial that trust in Him needs to be the main factor in everything. There are no hard feelings or bitterness harbored by us toward anyone, just hurt that will need time to heal. Forgiveness has been issued and we ask for the same. In time, all wounds heal through the blood of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
It is our prayer that as this church moves forward into the future that you seek God’s guidance in the decisions forthcoming. We pray that you keep The Great Commission in mind and remember that it is about Jesus Christ and His mission to save the lost. May you continue to grow in your relationship with Him and seek His face in all you do. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
Serving Christ always,
